Resident Evil: Extinction

Spencer Locke is actually starring in the third installment of Resident Evil, where Alice (MILLA JOVOVICH), now in hiding in the Nevada desert, once again joins forces with Carlos Olivera (ODED FEHR) and L.J. (Mike Epps), along with new survivors Claire (Ali Larter), K-Mart (Spencer Locke) and Nurse Betty (Ashanti) to try to eliminate the deadly virus that threatens to make every human being undead...and to seek justice.
The movie will be released on September 21st, directed by Russell Mulcahy.

Monster House Stars Interview

Coming out on July 21st is a new animated film from executive producers Robert Zemeckis and Steven Spielberg called “Monster House”, a house that is appears spooky and mysterious that when three kids across the street go inside to check it out, they experience the greatest adventures of their lives. Blackfilm.com recently spoke to Spencer Locke, Mitchell Musso, and Sam Lerner, the kids who play the leads in the film and they spoke about the fun they had on the set and working with Steve Buscemi.

Spencer Locke vs. Monster House

SPENCER LOCKE is in the new movie MONSTER HOUSEPretty, blonde, 14-year-old Spencer Locke has had roles on popular TV shows like “Phil of the Future” and “That’s So Raven”. She is currently shooting the scary film Resident Evil: Extinction. The Florida native impressed bigtime producer/directors Steven Spielberg and Bob Zemeckis and they gave her the lead role of Jenny, a bright new girl in town who joins two neighborhood guys in fighting a spooky, possessed house in the computer-animated scare funfest Monster House.
Monster House is a motion capture film like The Polar Express but filmmakers went for a less photo-realistic look, opting for characters who look slightly more like traditional animated characters. Jenny doesn’t look like Spencer but, according to the teen, she does have some of her mannerisms. Spencer and her fellow actors had to wear strange, close-fitting motion capture suits so that animators could track their movements and use them for creating their animated counterparts. There was no monster home to look at, only a few props on set. This is where the real imagination of the actors has to come in. Well, let’s let Spencer tell you about it....

Monster House Interview

The kids are all right as they lay the frightening foundation to build a better Monster House
Steven Spielberg and Robert Zemeckis say they believe kids like to get scared. So when they produced Monster House, they told young newcomer director Gil Kenan to "go for it" and be scary. He cast three preteen actors, Mitchel Musso, Sam Lerner and Spencer Locke, as three friends, DJ, Chowder and Jenny, who go on an adventure to discover the secrets of the mysterious house owned by mean old Mr. Nebbercracker. The actors, now all 14, had to go through some growing pains during the two years of voicing the characters—including redubbing some of the dialogue after both boys' voices cracked.
